Meet Steve
Steve is a futures trader, technologist, and founder of QuantaEdge — an AI-native algorithmic trading platform he built for himself, then realized he could share affordably with other serious traders. After a decade in commercial real estate and nearly a decade of active trading, a single eye-opening trade taught him that luck isn't a strategy — and pushed him toward building systematic, rules-based approaches to the market. What he found fell short of his standard: existing algo platforms are one-size-fits-all, historically overfit, and built by people who don't use their own products. QuantaEdge is the platform he built for himself — and still uses every day — now available to traders who deserve the same tools. Based in St. Petersburg, Florida, Steve trades US index futures daily while continuing to develop the platform that automates and diversifies everything else.

Steve grew up outside Chicago and studied economics at the University of Denver before building a career in commercial real estate — first in property analysis and valuation, then as a broker specializing in office and industrial leasing and investment sales. He settled in St. Petersburg, Florida, where he trades full time today.
His interest in markets began in 2017, but the real turning point came from a single trade — a highly volatile four-month position that swung wildly before closing in significant profit. Rather than repeat it, he walked away with a different lesson: you can allow yourself to be lucky once, but you can't build a career on it. That experience pushed him toward systematic trading and the development of rules-based strategies that don't rely on luck to work twice.
What he found in the market fell short of his standard. Most algorithmic trading platforms are built around a single strategy, the founder doesn't use the product themselves, and the approach is one-size-fits-all — historically overfit, never adapted to current market conditions. He brings a conservative, analytical, yet innovative approach to everything he does, and the existing tools didn't meet that standard. So he built his own.
Steve built QuantaEdge for himself first. As an active trader, he wanted institutional-grade tools — real-time GEX, options flow intelligence, AI-powered signal generation, multi-strategy automation — and nothing on the market met his standard. So he built them. What started as a personal trading system became something he realized he could share affordably with other serious traders who deserve the same edge. He is both the developer and a daily user of his own product, which means the standards are his own. Every signal is tracked publicly in real time — full transparency, no black box.
Outside of trading and development, Steve stays active in commercial real estate, and spends his free time snowboarding, fishing, traveling, and with family and friends.
